Below 80K and front and rear seals are dry. The car was lowered (2.5 inches space between K-Member and surface. So, the oil pan has a dent and this created a little stress on the seal and leaked some. That is an easy fix - I will change to a larger oil pan and pump anyway (this is not included in the $1.5k).
The final steps will be to black the whole engine and paint the plastic valve covers light blue.

the GT was never ment to be a power house. its an affordable, entry level v8 sports car. if they put the cobra motor and an updated chassis in a GT...then you just made the GT a cobra and raised the price tag on it by $5000+ and it wouldnt have been as successful selling as it was. and what can they do to the cobra to separate it from the GT if they both have the same motor and suspension? the GT was cheaper than the cobra and the LS1 counterparts for a reason and that is why there are so many on the road today. if you wanted a better power plant to start with...you had to spend the extra coin.

buying the bottom shelf v8 on the market and expecting top shelf performance is not fords fault...stop blaming them.
I Agree..end that debate
