Take that money you were going to put into chrome inserts and put it toward gears, or a tune, or intake, or anything other than chrome inserts!

Again... my .02

Nothing wrong with chrome inserts. It's a nice little mod. I bought some for my v6 when American Muscle had them on sale, I think it was $50 or so. I loves them, but it was only a v6, so all my money went towards appearance mods and no performance mods. I do things a little differently with the gt.

lol I see what you're saying since they are $70. But I found a set for $20 which I think is a steal. It's an automatic also so I don't know if the gearing will help any?

Gearing will definitely help. If you really think about it, stock is 2.73 and you move to 3.73 or 4.10 then its going to be a big difference.

It's on my list of things I should have done first. Though I would vote go exhaust because just the sound is sooo nice. But definitely do gears.

Okay that will go on the list.

- Exhaust (Probably just going to put some cats on it)

- Gearing

Best regards,
Mike
