I have the QA1 K member and it does push the wheels out a little but I don't think it looks bad at all. The reason I know it pushes them out is when I originally dropped the car I didn't adjust my tie rod ends and the wheels were toe'd in really bad. Once I adjusted the tie rod ends it looked just fine.

And for those recommending K members remember the OP says he doesn't want coilovers. Most of the K member recommended above require coilovers.

you can use an MM K-member with factory control arms.

I'm running a QA1 with tubular UPR a-arms and all is well here.

a friend of mine runs the team-z kmember. he seems to like it alot, no issues.
thats the reason right there. the stock arms are much much different than what QA1 provides. had i known this before i did my install, i would have either run my stock arms modified until i could find a better replacement, or gotten fox arms.

like i said, i'm looking into a "fix" for this QA1 problem with their "extra long" arms. i'm not a fan of their quality either. their welds look like ****, and the overall K just feels like bleh. i've helped put a UPR k on (stock arms) couple years back and it seemed of MUCH higher quality and with MUCH more rigidity probably due to the Chromoly, was lighter too. the price was right too.

if i had the choice, though, i would totally go with another company like Maximum Motorsports. UPR would be my second choice on a budget(or if i were going with a turbo kit designed for use with it). right now i'll have to stick with the QA1, because its too much of a pain in the *** to pull out the exhaust (fiberglass wrapping) and hang the motor just to swap a k-member when i can swap in arms and correct the problem.

i havent seen the team Z, but i have heard some decent things about them too, so thats another option, but OP's original question was whats the lightest/best. those 2 things are kinda different, because lightest is not always "best". UPR's will most likely be the lightest being chromoly.

as far as k-member, i dont really know why you would want to install one if you dont have any plan on going coilover, or dont plan on something like Long-tube headers, or a turbo kit that is designed around that specific K. its a bit of cash that could better IMO be spent on other bolt ons if thats the route you wanna go, or a supercharger/nitrous.

didnt feel like editing my post, so again, not QA1's arms. i'm not sure but i think that the earlier body style's have a bit different tolerances in the front too? i'm trying to get some measurements to ENSURE that i can get the best arms for the QA1 setup. UPR offers 3 lengths - their 94-04 arms are 15", fox-body arms are 14", and they offer 1" short fox-arms that are 13".

i'm thinking for my application, the fox-arms @ 14" would be perfect, and then if i want the wheels pushed out a bit i can use wheel spacers.
