Default engine assembly lube

I am getting ready to build my DOHC engine and I would like to know from those experienced engine builders which assembly lube have you used and what oil you use for the break in period??

By build do you mean you will actually be assembling the shortblock? The reason I ask is because if you aren't actually doing the work, the machine shop or whatever shop is should give it back to you already lubed up.

i just use standard white lithium grease. its like 8 bucks for a tube big enough for like 3 motors. Ive rebuilt 3 different cars, one being this mustang. thats what i used. And for break in i used regular oil. no addatives no synthetic. Just oil. 5-30. You can spend a lot more money on the break in oils and the special engine assembly lube, but im not sure that it would make a difference.
