heh I'll be doing the same when I get back.. I'm still a little shaken up from my accident so don't know if I'll be able to push it. It's also been about 1 1/2 yrs since I've been to one.

Nice video man... good to see you out there running the car. Now, just go and run a few track days and you'll really be addicted!

And to the other guys that are thinking about doing this... don't worry about not being good out there or slow. Because you will be slow and you will be beaten badly no matter what your first time. Its just the way it is... I got railed my first few events before I started to climb toward the top. Just takes seat time.

And don't go out and spend big $$$ on brakes or other mods... you don't need them. Just a helmet, fresh fluids, good brake pads, good tires and everything in good mechanical condition and you're ready to go. Once you get some time in, then mod to what you think will make you faster.

Looks like you had fun! That is what these events are all about anyway.
The exhaust does sound good. I'm anxious to see some GOPRO footage!!!

Often times your best run is the one when you "slow down" and get smooth that is actually the quickest. Stabbing the gas, brakes and jerking the wheel make it feel like you are going fast, but really you are going slower.

I plan to hit a local autoX in a few weeks. It has been more than 20 years since I last ran an autoX event. I know my skills have faded, but they can be recovered with some practice.

To anyone thinking that it looks like fun, but afraid of looking foolish... JUST DO IT! You won't regret it. WARNING: you will be immediately hooked!
