Please Help!!! Exhaust question

Honestly I would look for a used flowmaster cat back which can be had pretty cheap considering there about 400 new, and even with no expereince turning wrenches I'm sure you guys can tackle the install yourself if you have some basic tools and a jack and jack stands.

I went with Flowmaster Super 44's, you can find them here:http://www.americanmuscle.com/flowma...4-muffler.html . They were on sale for $65 or so when I got em and looks like they have gone back up since. It cost me $75 to have a shop weld them on. So it ended up costing me around $205 total.
I think they sound great however I find myself wishing now that I had just come up with the extra money and gone with the Flowmaster American Thunder Catback as Uberstang suggested. They come with 40's however the increased pipe size would have been more beneficial, especially as I upgrade the rest of my exhaust. You can find them here: http://www.americanmuscle.com/flowma...ck-9904gt.html
If you want to keep cost at a minimum though, the super 44's are cheap and sound great.

NO need to worry about changing piping size on a stock Mustang. Just go with a pair of Flowmasters welded in.
The stock mid-pipe will keep the sound level down, but a pair of 2 chamber mufflers will change the tone to a clasic Mustang sound.
GOOD LUCK!!!
Let us know how it works out for you.

Thanks guys for all your input.
I decided to go with the IMCO 77543s, (pretty much knockoffs of the 40 series flowmasters). No need to change the H-pipes to 2.5in because we do not plan on doing any performance upgrades. I asked the mechanic what he thought was best and he straight up told me that there wasn't much difference in sound/performance unless your adding horsepower/mods to the engine. A really A+ guy. Instead of selling me more stuff and trying to take more of my money he ended up saving me BIG $$$.
I could have had the catback upgraded to 2.5in and mufflers installed for 305$. But instead he talked me into just upgrading the mufflers. It only cost me 126$ for parts and install.
49$ per muffler, and 20$ for labor. Other places I called were trying to charge me anywhere from 280$-450$
Sound:
Classic mustang sound. Not too loud, no raspy/cracking sound. But plenty of ***** at around 2-3k RMPs. Sounds like Chewy from Star Wars getting some action lol. And if you crack down on it, she has a good roar. A very clean, throaty setup. Just what dad was looking for.
I personally want something just a little louder, but I'm 25yrs old. I don't give a **** what the cops or neighbors think lol. But my opinion, this is the upgrade to get if you want that classic sound and your not planning on doing any performance upgrades.
The next car I buy is going to be a 2000ish mustang or another '95 Lincoln Mark 8, and when I upgrade the exhaust on it I'll probably go something louder/cheaper like cherry bombs/glasspack.

Heck, they guy even talked myself out of replacing the tailpipes. I was thinking about changing them for some chrome tips, but instead just a scotch pad and some stainless steel cleaner and shined up what I had.
I highly recommend this guy if you live close by here in KY.
