Well if you're spinning all the way to 7100 isn't the solution pretty obvious?

Its not tires or traction, if the shift point is set for 6400 its 6400 if it has traction or not. If its going to 7100 and it is verified the tuned shift point is set for 6400 this unfortunatly is the beginning signs of a failed transmission or convertor, very common with boosted cars and a stock 4r trans. I hope this thread doesn't turn into another "OMG don't speed on the street", bottom line is if you do not take your car to a track or race it off road why would people add so much performance to a street car, just to say they have it? Lets be realistic here people drive hard on the street with modified cars its just the way it is.

^yep, absolutely right. Most guys say "eh the cars only at 400rwtq" and dont realize that these stock 4R70Ws crap out even before that, regardless of driving habits.

What mods do you guys think should be made to make the trans stronger? Or do you think it is the point of no return and just build a new trans? What company is good with the 4r trans?

Darrin at BC Auto is the guy you want to talk to. At this point it's not just let's buy a build trans it's let's buy a built trans AND converter. It will be expensive but it will be worth it.
