Default Guys with a blower and a 4r70w, I was wondering if you could help me out

Last night I was at a redlight with a friend and when the light turned green I floored it. Well my rev limiter is set at 6400 and My car went all the way to 7100 rpm and i let out then it finally shifted to 2nd. Ever since i put the blower on i cant floor it off the line because it will tach up and i have to let off so it will shift. Since i am stock bottom end 7100 is something i never want to see. So i was wonderin what do you guys think is up? Should i get on my handheld and lower the rev limiter and see if that helps? Its like the computer cant keep up with the rpms ever since i put the blower on.

My first thought is stop flooring it on the street.
I'd double check the tune to make sure your limiter is set where you think it is.

I am confused...why are you letting it rev passed 6400 if that's what you think the limiter is set at?

Something in the tune is messed up. Talk to your tuner.

Yeah still stock converter. I have a trans cooler sitting in the garage but I know that wont solve my problem. I was reading something about people switching out to Mach one trans electrical systems? Said they are set for faster shifts. And my rev limiter is definitely set at 6400 to answer the people who asked.

This is what I was thinking Teej. If I actually got traction I wonder if it would shift right then?
