I was also gonna try a gatorback instead of the gates I usually use.
When I ran the 3.12 pulley I went down a belt size but damn if I remember, twas not much of a difference. I always ran/run Gates belt from Napa with zero issue

hmm, ive always ran gates but they seem to start to squeel and slip a lot?

Ill try the smaller belt and see if that helps at all

If it squeals it's prolly tensioner issue

So what setups do you both have?

are you guys 8 rib?

what tensioner?

Its weird, I really never thought I had an issue with belt slip untill I saw that boost graph on the dyno.

Im not even sure how it hit 13 psi cause I swear it barely touches 10 psi at 6k on the street. lol

Not sure how I picked up 3 psi from 6 to 6300 rpms.

I'm running stock 3 bolt tensioner, 8 rib setup, 10% overdrive crank, and 2.95 blower pulley with gates belt

hmm, did you have problems when you were 6 rib?

Its weird because I looked at the graph again and its showing me making 10 psi at 5500 rpms and like 13 psi at 6200 rpms but I swear I have never seen boost that high ever on my boost gauge.

Is it possible that the gauge was reading wrong on the dyno?

It seems like the run where it said I peaked at about 11 psi seemed to be what my boost gauge reads all the time on the street cause ive never seen over 11 on my gauge.

From when I watch it, I feel like I usually see about 7 psi at 5k, and 10-11 psi at 6k-6200.

Im not sure why it said 13 psi, im really wondering if that was just an error or if I just run aroung getting belt slip all the time and just never knew it.

I do see a bunch of belt dust on my new intake.
