Why do so many people cut the bumper support instead of tucking it between the support and radiator? I know turbo kits tuck them and they're the same size intercoolers as the CXracing ones.
Most people cut them even when mounted back there to get the air flow That is why I decided to make my own support that wouldn't compromise the strength of the front end and give plenty of air flow.

So what's needed to tuck it behind the bumper support? Are there lines that need moved?

Edit: Just ordered this kit here. $200 for an entire cold side. Not bad at all

That Will fit you just have to move the power steering cooling line in front of it. 4" coolers wont fit behind the stock support.

Good to know. I will have to look into what it takes to move the lines for the I/C.

I also cut a hole in my fender well and ran the pipe as straight as I could. Cut and welded is definitely the way to go.

My biggest regret (other than going draw-thru) was just going out and buying an Ebay core and not really doing my research. Spend some money on a good core, and not just some cheap POS.

Why the big regret staying draw thru? And with that last statement are you advising against the cx racing kit thats sold on ebay? Im asking bc i was considering getting a complete cx racing kit from ebay and keepin it all draw thru.

The cx racing kit is fine. I had the 4' intercooler and meth injection. With 90* ambient temps in the shop my IAT was 40* at 23lbs of boost.

Deffenetly go blow thru if you can afford it.

AIS. Best system on the market. I have used their kits 4 times now and they are top notch. Twice I used them on nitrous setups one of them being my car, nothing like like running a 400 shot and only having to pull 2* of timing..
