Being that "boost" is indeed the measurement of restriction, using boost numbers to define your setup is pointless. My point being that if you're out flowing your core, upgrade.

If you're dealing in a high hp, high flow situation, you may start utilizing more of the top of the core. But with the straight across setup, I promise, running 8-10 psi, it's just going to bridge straight across. Especially if you're running a taller core like I was.

You can still operate with this setup but ensure the exposed portion of your core (from behind the bumper) is also the half that the piping connects to. Otherwise the airflow through the core won't be in line with the air traveling through the system.

Ok, im reviving this thread because I do not want to make a new thread for this. So far have gotten my bap, wiring upgrade, mondo bpv, and i just ordered my intercooler, so now im dropping to a 3.33 and im wondering what size belt is recommended, my tuner said I would need a new belt even though ive read on here that you can use the same belt so does anyone know the size i need? Thanks guys

I just put a 3.12 on with the same belt. It's tight. Hasn't been revved or anything yet, but you should be fine.

hey dont remember exact specs but went to local auto shop, autozone and asked for the next belt size up from the stock one. when you stretch the belt out it should be 34" long. I tried using stock on my procharger but it was way tight. Also might be a good time to change your belt tensioner. mine was shot.

ps if i were you i would get a 34" and 35" belt, meaning the belt one size longer than stock and 2x longer and returning the one u dont use. hope this makes sense. wish i could give u a part # buts its too late to be going in the garage.

I am running 10lbs so are you meaning i will pick up HP by switching to a offset/same side inlet and outlet IC?

I was always under the impression it wouldnt make that much of a difference in HP untill you are like 500+ rwhp
