Hi everyone I'm new to the forum. I'm 18 and I live in tx. I have a 01 bullitt that was inherited to me from my brother...he passed 6 months ago and left me his car..and I promised him I would take care of it.

I usually do all my work on my car I just read and do it..I don't pay anyone to do it I just learn how to do it and then do it. But I have ran into a problem..

Sometimes even when its warm the car sometimes takes a sec to start..like 2 cranks with a little gas fed to it by me pushing on the gas pedal. So I replaced the fuel filter thinking that was it..it was not..so can someone help me with figurin out what it is? Fuel pump? Relay? Idk..the car drives and runs great..so I'm puzzled what it could be.

The car only has 39k miles incase that helps.

2 cranks, really? There is nothing wrong with the car or fuel pump. Mine does that every once in a while when its hot. Like if I stop to get gas and I shut it off for a minute or two. You got nothing to worry about.

Thanks man..I just want this car to stay perfect for him..I have another 01 gt and it has 138k on it and it never does it...if there was something wrong what might it Mabey be?

Cause he was the original owner and it never did that until it hit 35k..I remember hearing him talk about it..
