From the sounds of it I'm lucky my car came with an MGW on it......

I.moved.mine.from.side.to.side.and.it.just.came.of f....just.installed.my.shifter.today

False! you didn't get to enjoy switching from the stock POS shifter to the beautiful MGW. The experience of using a real shifter after being stuck with the stock one is an incredible one.
