You can obviously tell from above feedback that the time is slow for your mods, but heck not bad for your first time ever. Your car as it sits, even with street tires, has a very low 13 sec. pass in it in my opinion. It's a matter of if alot of seat time and getting **** with the details is something you're interested in. Either way, so long you have a good time.

lol how can you say MPH not bad?

100 mph trap is crap if the car is making anywhere near the claimed 297 rwhp

My frickin bolt on, auto, NPI with a stock converter would trap 101-102.

My brothers 00 GT with your average bolt ons and 4.10s traps 103-104 mph

With nearly 300 rwhp I would think his traps would be approaching 110 mph?

I been trying my BAMA tunes and having wheels spin just ain't there for me as with there street and performance tune as stock made more bottom end power IMO but still waiting to try race tune yet.

exactly what i was getting at, everyone seems to look at the 60's and et's and skip over the low mph which spinning doesn't effect.

what do you think?

UPR suspension and sticky tires will drop almost a full second off of your quarter mile time, so there is that.

But Justin's right, something's fishy with that trap speed. Trap speed isn't affected very much by traction or lack thereof, and I ran 13.89 @ 100 in my stock '99 GT 5-speed on stock tires. I'm concerned that there may be something up with your engine. Any possibility of a bad coil or something?

Seems kinda high to me. I'm running 14.7 on cai, short shift and axle backs and that is with a da of 8900ft. My buddy ran a 14.2 with headers tune and intake and block off at 7500ft. I'm not sure what altitude your track is but I know it's better than ours. It sounds to me like you might be spinning the tires quite a bit.

His mph will be off, it's his 1st TIME EVER to the track. Crappy original 245 street tires I'm sure yielded sloppy traction in more than just 1st gear, and that WILL slow mph. I'm sure his shiftpoints in each gear haven't been perfected either, that also has a HUGE effect. Fife, your mph and ETs improve with each trip to the track.

^^^^have to agree. My first time out to the track in the stang my first run was 15.4. After getting used to the car I got a 14.7. I still think he might be spinning tires but get used to the car and do it some more. You should be in the 13's easy. Also I'd still like to know what altitude you are at and what the da is. It can effect it quite a bit just going down in altitude or da can have a big effect.
