damaged passenger door - opinions on repair? pics inside
I managed to damage my passenger door in a friend's parking garage that is currently under construction. My own stupidity.
Anyways, what do you suggest - repairing the current door, or replacing the door with another used door? I found a few doors locally between $75-$125 complete with mirror/glass/etc. I do not want any body filler if they repair the old door as I am afraid it will not look the same as factory when repaired.
If I get a used door, I am going to have to have the back-side/jambs sprayed because I want it to match as if it came with the car.
Do convertable cars use the same doors as the coupes? Anything else to watch out for if buying a used door? Is the glass easily transferrable from one door to another (I want to re-use my current glass because of the shade of tint on it).

well you should be able to buy a new door skin for not too much then you'll only have to paint the skin itself which is the outer portion. Take it to a few body shops and see what they suggest from either a new skin or used door. i'm not even going to ask how the hell you did that lol.
