wheels

can anyone answer me something. i talked to a guy who wants to sell his wheels and rims, they are a 17x10, i was wondering what all i would need to do to get those to fit my 17x8.

are you asking if you could fit tires that were on 17x10 rims on to your 17x8 rims?
