Default Looking for Motor Rebuild Advice

Okay so I spun a bearing in my engine. Its an 02 Romeo block and PI heads/manifold (obviously). Essentially I'm gonna trash everything but the block and the heads and pretty much build a motor from the ground up. So my main questions are:

1. How much horsepower can a stock block handle?
2. Where should I start with the build? block or heads?
3. Advice on which parts to get? (Cams, pistons, rods, etc)
4. And last: When I bore out the engine should i go .010 or .020?

Thanks in advance for any answers.

Stock block can handle over 1000rwhp. Start with the bottom end. You can get rods and pistons from MMR and then pick up a used cobra crank. As for how much to bore the engine you want do as little as possible. If you can try for .010 over but if you have too much damage and need to go .020 or .030 then that's fine. If you need to go beyond .030 find a new block.

Imo on the block if the long term goal is high hp .020 over allows you to run max ported heads with big cams, I believe if you are less than .020 over some of the cams and stage 3 stuff can be off limits. But regardless don't skimp on the short block, buy the best parts you can afford, you can always throw boost at it and be happy but on if the block is stout

Thanks for the help. Its gonna be a long process. I'm looking to build this motor here and there over the next 2 years. But my power goals are 700whp supercharged.
