Teksid build/ oil starvation issue/ questions. Pics of carnage inside
Ok so I built my übertastic motor, 1000hp stroker forged internals, performance oil pump stage 3 heads cams blah blah blah. Anyway I bottomed the car out on a bad section of road took out the pan. Got the car pulled over and brought to a shop, repaired the pan. Started it up everything sounded great and normal, drove it for 6-10 miles lightly. Everything checked out so I romped on it and spun the bearings...so the issues I'm having is I finally got into the engine, and even though I havnt checked it yet I'm guessing the oil pan lost clearance to the pick up for the oil pump which is why the car worked fine until I stepped on it. What concerns me though, is where the damage is, I blued a rod, but it wasn't number 8 it was the 3rd rod in from the back. Which doesn't make sense since I thought they starved from the back forward, so now I'm a bit concerned maybe there was some other issue? Do Teksid blocks oil differently than windows? Has anyone else had that kind of weird issues where the damage is more towards the middle instead of the back? Sorry no pics for now, too big and havnt figured out how to make them smaller from my phone yet

Bman preety much same thing happened to me. Took it to the dyno. No problems. Drove it the next day no problem. Two days later drove it kinda hard and the engine seized. It's in the shop now getting a MMR 900 block installed. I'm very curios to know wat happened. Once they tear down the teksid, I'll let you know what happened.

I got in it a little further. It definitely starved from the back forward because it's way worse in the back than the front, still don't understand why 5-6 are the worst though, I'll check pan clearance today to verify but I'm pretty positive the pan clearance isn't enough

I'm only worried because I had so much money in it. Just want to be positive it wasn't something I did when I built it. By the way measured the pan clearance....1/4 inch, so even that doesn't make sense. So the only thought I have left was the initial impact and running out of oil did more damage than I thought, and possibly put some chunks in the system that plugged 6 so when I romped on it 6 had no oil and just disinigrated
