Power steering issue

Power steering issue
I wiped it off but the resevour was completely full when I took the cap off and overflowed dripping down the sides
The car is an 03 cobra 85k miles. I haven't driven my car in two weeks and i went to go for a ride and saw power steering fluid has filled up the reservoir and overflown and there was a big puddle of it under the car. Does this mean the power steering pump has failed? Is the car safe to drive to a shop like this? Are there any how tos for changing the power steering pump on a cobra? I searched and cant find much information on how to replace/repair. Thanks
If i take the car to a shop about how long labor wise should I expect to be paying for something like this.

Assuming failed pump is a correct diagnosis - I've not seen a situation like yours before where it's puking from the reservoir, replacement should be pretty easy if you want to DIY. It's just a basic nuts and bolts sort of job. Done p/s pumps on a few vehicles over the years, not much to it. It's a lot like replacing an alternator, except access may be slightly more difficult and you'll want to lay down some cardboard in your work space for the Mercon ATF that is gonna leak out when you undo the lines. If you want to DIY this I'm sure all you need is the usual metric sockets and wrenches, will also likely need to rent a pulley remover/installation tool as most replacement pumps require reuse of your original pulley. If you pay a shop, I'd expect labor charges to come in at around 2 hrs.

One of the lines is clogged, collapsed, or there is a valve failure at the hydroboost.
Fluid is not getting OUT, but being pushed into the reservoir by the pump, and over
flowing. So, the OUTPUT to the rack and hydroboost is being held up...

Update: I took the car to a neighbors shop and they did a power steering flush. They believe it was just old fluid possibly causing a pressure relief type valve to stick. They couldn’t get it to overflow like I described. I’ve driven it a few times since with no issues. The power steering works great and makes no noise like a typical failed pump so we will see.
