2002gt charging system problems
Recently in my new edge GT my voltage on my gauge reads about 9/10 and my car keeps dying overnight. I replaced the alternator thinking it would be as simple as that but the problem continued. I was looking around the battery to make sure my terminals were clean and everything checks out but I noticed I have two ground wires not going anywhere but i have the two grounded on the radiator support frame one of them is a plug in pin and im guessing it gets plugged in somewhere? I also have a little sensor underneath the fuse box that has nothing plugged in and was thinking that could have something to do with my problem?. I was wondering if someone could share a few pictures of the ground wires from the battery. thank you for your time.
Brought home the auto this beyond Saturday and went to take it out for a spin and it died 7 seven times at some point of that pleasure journey. When it might cut off, the dash and all lighting could start to dim, indicating that it's miles an electrical hassle. Had to leap it on every occasion on my way again domestic (thank goodness I was near home). The battery mild came on and now the alternator is slightly able to power the battery sufficient to hold the car at idle. The vehicle will shut off in case you provide it a few gas due to the fact all of the energy is tired from the battery. Took off the alternator and had it checked numerous instances to ensure there were not any fake readings however my vintage guy is satisfied that is the trouble. Dropped the battery off to be checked too and both the alternator and battery passed with flying hues. What must I search for now? I checked all of the fuses and none of em are blown. I wager it is in the wiring? The battery cables, maybe the alternator regulator plug? Maybe there is a brief somewhere. All I recognise is that the car is not getting enough electric electricity.
