Default tuning the GT

just wondering what it takes to tune this car. do i buy a piggyback ecu? do i buy a tune? do i send in my ecu to get something done to it? how/where do i install it? is it easy?

basically, if i wanted the diablosport or sct, what would i do? where would i buy it from, could i install it easily? remove easily? plug and play for the canned tunes? i'm 100% stock now.

My best advice is to use the serch function on here. There is so much info on which tuner and what tuner to get, who to go to, canned or dyno, you will gag on the info. I've done alot of questioning and to sum it up.

#1 SCT tuner and dyno tune are the best for both auto and manual. Manual can get away with the Diablo for less. The most important thing is who does your tune. Like I said before search this topic. There is no need for adding a chip or another ecm just get the computer in your car tuned and you will be pleased.

you can try evolution performance, brenspeed, bamachips, etc. the first two seem to be the biggest two. but an SCT and Diablo are pretty well the same as far as tuning ability. find out who locally prefers to deal with what. the support for it is as valuable as the actual tuner. then when you add more to it than requires tuning, you have a dyno nearby.

We sell both the Diablosport and SCT. You want to purchase one that the local tuners where you live are familar with. All of the tuners are on sale.
