Borlas are stainless steel while Flowmasters are aluminized. That is why there is a big price difference.
Ahhhhh, that's why. Always wondered why the big price difference. Anyway, I'm swapping out Flows for Borlas in the morning. I installed Kooks catted LTs about two weeks ago and am not real pleased with the sound. Thought it'd be louder, although that's not why I got the LTs. Guess I'll see how it sounds with the Borlas. By the way, I've had the Flows on for a year and have loved them.

Flows have crappy build quality. Guys running N/A stangs with Offroad H or X pipes were blowing the deflectors inside loose.
When that happens you get a really nice rattling sound from them.. Makes drone a welcome sound compared to the rattling.

Ditto. Mine broke about 2 months after I bought them. Started her up cold one morning and it sounded like someone shaking a beer can with the pull tab dropped inside. Sound went away after she warmed up but came back every time she started cold. Just sent the Flows back and replaced with Pypes Violators.

I liked the sound of the Flows...right up to the point where they broke.
