Default Broke my front left axle. Need help finding a replacement.

I can't believe I even have to post this and am still shaking from the accident. I was entering a poorly lit highway entrance and there was a curb where it appeared to be open road. Long story short, my front axle is busted. To what extent I am not sure yet, because I haven't even seen the car is daylight yet.

I have just quickly searched through motorcraft to see if there are any replacement axles, and it is not clear whether there is or not. I am wondering if ANYONE knows any places I may be able to look online to see what replacement costs will be.

Believe me, I want this fixed as soon as possible. So any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yep - no 'axle'. If the wheel is pushed back or folded under or out, you've broken something fairly substantial. Might not be a simple matter of replacing a part either.

Can you post a pic?

Sounds similar to a hub/spindle assembly. If you curbed it hard enough you could have busted one of the two or both. The way to tell is to pull the wheel off and see what is broken around where the wheel bolts to the hub. If that is broken you can possibly get one used at a decent price. Since it is more than likely a 2005 and up part a used one should still be in good condition. I have a way of locating parts nationwide. If you want me to locate some of the stuff for you, let me know.. I will need year, make, model of the car and your city, state, and zip. If you want that sort of help of course..

Let me know
