just had 4.30 gears put in my stang. the last gear change i did was on a 95. just replacing plastic gear in tranny fix speedo. what about my 06. what is the process. thanks

the speedo is electrical, you will need to get a programmer. that will let you adjust your gear ratio

+1...very easy to do and only take a few minutes. It will be pre-programmed with the different gear options.

Yeah a programmer, The sct diablo and others have different parameters you can change when you plug them into your car. Read up on them (search) and learn about Getting the car "tuned" I am not sure how much you know of these devicesbut basiclly it changes some of the information your computer uses to send/recieve info from your cars engine/transmission and gauges. They are usually simple plug in and follow directions......

OH! it does make a heck of a difference

hope this helps you. A lot of people on here use tunes written by companys that will sell you a tune and handheld (a little genericbut works great). A good alternative is going to a dyno and having your car tuned to your Mods and gas you are running.
