Default 4.10's installed

So the other day i got Pro 5.0 4.10's installed and i can already tell i love them. The only problem i have is with some dreaded gear whine at around 50 to 70 mph only on acceleration. GTR Performance did the install in so cal and they said their will be some gear whine which im fine with, but i was just wondering if it will subside at all after a break in period? I know it won't completely go away, but just get a little better because i only have 20 miles on the car after the install. Thanx in advance.

Heat cycle the new gear set a few times but I doubt it will leave. If you can live with it don't worry...if it gets louder take it back as the gear is not set right IMO

Congrats. Those were my first two mods and I loved them. You are going to have some whine. Like GT500 said, if it gets louder, take it back to your installer for adjustments.

Yikes... should have gone with FRPP gears. If they get to be too annoying, have the FRPP ones installed.

Yeah, mine had absolutely no whine, nor should they. The shop I took mine too did a fantastic job and I haven't had to take it back even once.
