Help! Broken Spark Plugs

Second broken plug is out and she lives once again! I would like to thank everyone for all the help getting my through this ordeal. It is greatly appreciated.

whoever designed these spark plugs ought to have their nuts crushed

what were they thinking?

Is it a problem with just the plugs though? Or isn't the design of the head part of the problem?

If so, then it didn't help much, did it? Which means just putting ant-seize on them isn't gonna stop them from fusing to the head.
That is not anti seize, its carbon build up that has been broken down some with some penetrating oil.

the autolite HT1's. still a two piece plug, but i figure I'll never need to take them out again.

That's weird. The carbon stuff is usually black and liquidy after it's broken down (I see some of it in the pic as well). That silver stuff looks exactly like anti-seize in your pic. Must be the flash from the camera.

I really can't see why that plug broke. The carbon is minimal and is softened from the lube. Maybe most of the fused carbon stayed in the head.
