Engine mods for more boost?

I don't mind if it weighs it down some. I just want to focus on the motor build as much as possible...

If you were to do the labor yourself and it's going to be torn apart, iwould do the following:

send the heads out for porting
get a cam based on whatever power adder you choose.
stroke the motor to 298 ci.
use ARP fasteners and head studs.
research the proper type of rings and gaskets for FI

after you figure that out then you think about your fuel system.

thanks for all the advice thus far.

What do you all think about just buying a built motor instead of taking mine apart??

I contacted the instructor and he said that we can work something out. If something needs to be sent off and worked on, it might be an issue because of timing and schedules of the project.

I might just get an E-Force kit and make that my project instead. I can have 430whp now and then do the internals later, rather then the opposite ( engine now, SC later)

Either way, I don't mind!~
