Default For those with centri's

Ok i've searched the forum for the past few days for this answer but i havent exactly found what i need. Since i've decided to not trade in my car im definetly going with a vortech. My question is about the amount of boost your in when cruising. This is going to be my daily driver and im not looking for major horsepower or to be in boost all the time. I hear that the boost really kicks in at 3500 rpm+ So lets say im just cruising around at 1500 rpm, how much if any boost would i be in?

Thanks!

i dont think you'd be in boost yet.. it would still be under vac
vortech in your dd is fine, makes everyday better.

You definitely won't be in the boost if you're just cruising. That's why I got a centri... I didn't want to be boosting all the time like positive displacement superchargers do. You're only in the boost when you get on it with a centri. Otherwise, your engine is making a vacuum like it normally does.
