The Ford dealer put mine in with the rebuild kit for $557. They had to keep my car for a day though.

I'll add an update because I have entered the realm of FI since my last comments.

445 rwhp/400 rwtq on the streets with 275/40/17 MT ET streets = 1st & 2nd gear are totally useless at WOT. I can blow the tires off without trying. Spinning isn't winning, and this combo is terrible. If you had a centrifugal with a weak low end it might be ok. In addition, the car is fast enough that using 5th gear on the 1/4 mile is a real possibility. The smaller diameter drag radials I run change the effective ratio to 4.30.

Stock 3.55s are going back in the car, it's just a matter of time. When I race, wether it be autocross or drag racing, I use smaller than stock diameter wheels/tire which kicks the effective ratio equal to 3.73s, which is perfect as far as I'm concerned.

I had the 410s installed with my automatic I was not entering the power rpm range quick enough, with stock tires holding me to 2.02 60' and a cai was good to get me into the mid 13's but everyone I was running against in heads up racing were running 13.2s. When I entered the traps I was at 5200 rpms and shift to 4th started me around 4500 rpms too much was left on the track and with a 26" tire I knew that the 410s would get me across the line at 5800-5900 rpms. The gain from 13.6 to 13.22 might not seem much and it isn't as I only have had them in for one event and am just relearning to handle the car from first to second where I am losing at least .1 I hope to clean that up with the SCT. I should be running 13.1 +/- At the track MPH/MPG is out the window, I want ET gains, the rest is window dressing.
