To whipple or to Roush..THAT is the question.

IMO the Roush is for those that worried about the factory warranty that KNOW they will be happy with the amount of power it puts out. It is a good kit, but I would rather invest in one of the others just incase I get alittle crazy.

I'm kind of new to the Mustang world. Would you mind elaborating on this statement or pointing me to something I can read up on? Just trying to be an educated consumer before I start the mod addiction.

There have been several threads on this site and others about Saleen...those who took over the company from Steve Saleen...having financial troubles and when tey first took over were not covering warranty on the stuff from other owner (Steve Saleen). Supposedly that as been sorted out but rumors still persist about them being on shaky ground financially.... so I hesitate to purchase from them

Has anyone ever broken anything while using the canned tune from whipple? (other than the tensioner that breaks with just about ANY positive displacement supercharger)
I really think you guys are worrying too much. The whipple canned tune is EXTREMELY safe and conservative. You'd have to try really hard to break something while using that tune.

I'm havin the same tough time deciding on which blower I want to install. I definitely wouldn't mind the Roush M90 for now, but I hate feeling restricted in terms of upgrading it in the future. Hopefully we can get a definitive answer on all of this at some point. I have a feeling that maintaining the factory warranty with an S/C is going to be dealt with differently on a dealer by dealer basis.
