So i spent 3 hours laying under my car today to install the Saleen sts kit and re-check the pinion angle since my last gear change. The kit uses the stock shifter and comes with a block, sleeve and bolt. It bolts up and lenghtens( is that a word?) the shift assembly thus shorting the throw by 25%, and it really does. Only problem, Not enough clearance for a 4" aluminum 1 piece ds. So i suppose its for only stock 2 piece or maybe 3.5". Too bad cause it was inexpensive. But it would be great for anyone with the stocker. And the pinion angle was just right, so a couple of sore shoulders is about it.
