Default differences in year GTs?

Looking for a complete motor on ebay and was wondering if there are any major difference between 05-09 model GTs. I have an 08 auto.

$1,950 for a complete motor ain't bad.. considering that I would have had to get new heads anyways with a short block. Shipping for all that is killer. Might as well get it in shot...

to refresh my memory, in order to swap a manual to auto is only taking off the flywheel and mating the flex plate to it, correct??

i don't think there were any major differences, just the spark plug hole design change in (mid 08?). prior = 16mm, after = 12mm.

correct and if it arrives with a pilot bearing in the crankshaft, i believe
you need to remove it before installing the engine.

08.5 - 10 has different designed spark plug bores. so the cylinder heads are different and it requires coils from that same style engine. The intake manifold instead of having CMRC plates it has some integrated CMRC plugs. No other differences

The valve covers changed the amount of fasteners in '07. '05-'06 had 14 and the '07 up has 9 or 10. so the heads were changed as well
