The FRPP Hot Rod cams will work with FI but you really won't see much gain in comparison to FI cams. The cams are relatively safe as long as installed as recommended. Ford Racing says to not install limiters and heavier springs.
I have run these cams in both NA and FI and have been pleased with both. The only down side that I have experienced is that tuning can be a little difficult if you are trying to get decent gain and keep the idle from being a little erratic at very low rpm (where you are trying to get the most lope).
