Sounds about the same way I broke mine, but hey got to pay to play lol. From what i've heard they are both good transmissions i only went 1250 so i would be ready for future build up and peace of mind.

Once I get all the parts i'll post some picture of how the install went and everything. Sadly got a message from brenspeed telling me that the TCI shifter is on back ordered and they don't know when they will be available.

Stealth Gt that's about how it looked when the shop took it apart, except somethings were a little more "burnt" lol. The guy at the shop bought my core just because he wanted one to play with ( had never rebuilt the 5R55S before, also the reason I didn't want him to rebuild mine but that's a different story)
