Question about Manual Tranny...
I have an '05 with a 5 Speed Manual with a little over 9000 miles on it...
I have noticed that when I have the clutch depressed all the way and try to engage reverse, I can hear a little grinding... It never slips in there with extreme ease like my old '99 Eclipse 5 speed did. I'm no expert at these things, so what could this be with this few miles? Would changing the transmission fluid help this since they fluids are 5+ years old? Could the throw out bearing be going? Any ideas/possible trouble shooting tips?
Thanks folks.

If it was the throwout / slave cylinder, you would be having the same problem going into any gear. Not sure, but there may be an adjustment in the shifter for that. I could be wrong on that one, though. I know when you put an aftermarket shirfter in you have to adjust it.
