Hi all. i have a 2008 Gt flowmaster super 40's,93 octane tune with sct,steeda cold air intake,throttle body spacer,the problem in having is that when I get on the car even just a moderate amount, im getting a pinging. couple of people asked about the octane. I always put 93 in all the time. Someone elsse suggested having the timing adjusted.. Any suggestions??

 

Check all your vacuum hoses and all of the intake piping to make sure unmetered or metered air isn't getting in or out.

It should not be pinging. You can run the 91 oct tune and see what happens, with the 93 oct in the tank.
