Any ideas about my clutch pedal change?
It's been getting really hot around hear recently (100 plus everday) and I've started to notice a growing challenge. In the morning or right after work when I start to drive my car and it's cool the clutch pedal is easy to push just like the day I bought the car. The more time I spend in rush hour traffic and the hotter it gets the harder it gets to push in. By the time I get home (about 45 min drive over 15 miles) the pedal is stiffer than my 02's cable clutch and almost feels gooey. The car is a 2010 with 11K miles and is 1.5 years old (one of the first off the line).
Planning on taking the car in to be checked out but hoping I could at least get an idea of the issue so I can be preppared for the, "that's normal" battle I seem to always get at dealerships. Am thinking the throwout bearing may be going out but it's not making any noise and I've never had one be sensative to heat like this. It's my first hydrolic clutch car though....
