Default Do I need a tach adapter?

I'm looking at getting a FRPP 3 3/4 inch pedestal mount tachometer part number 88083 for my 06 GT

http://www.autometer.com/cat_gaugede...id=3850&sid=72

and from looking at this page, makes me wonder if I need this adapter?

http://www.autometer.com/cat_accesso...il.aspx?vid=99

I think I do but I want to check from somebody who knows 100% before I drop another $75....

Thanks all!

Yes you will need it! Can't tap a coil on these cars.... Call them they will explain.

Cool, I was thinking as much.

Just hoped to avoid another $75 but if that is what it takes, oh well. Thanks for the info.
