Default Those with high stall torque converters

3500 rpm stall, lock out, multi-disc, centri blower @10 psifor now.. TVS@8 psi.. 4.10s.

CAMS and driveshaft after.

What do you guys think? If it's too much for the street, I can always take off in 2nd gear and upshift.

Keep in mind, I was running 2.0/2.4 60 fts. all day long.. measly 12.5@111 mph all day long. MT ET Streets. I plan on going back and raping the 1320 for 11 sec time slips!

Your post looks weird, stealth. Have you been drinking again?

Anyways, it seems you and i are on the same mod path, sans the drag radials. Once my TCI transmission and converter arrive, I'll let you know my newest numbers at the track. My current best is 12.4 @ 115mph, on street tires.

Since it's a lock out type, I believe it should be okay.. until I flash it and all hell breaks loose lol

Yup, these are the best mods imo for the auto trans for the best ET's...

You got a built auto trans and TC?? That's gonna be one sweet set up!

That converter is a little loose for the TVS setup. You may get away with it but I think you will have a hard time getting traction. With a TVS blower you're better off around 2800 stall. The TVS makes so much torque down low your 3500 converter will most likely flash close to 4000 and really hit the tires hard at launch. I would pull it out and have it re-stalled to 2500-2800 if it were my setup.

What's the stock flash stall? I know with the V3 and 4.10s, it was a friggin' dog at the tree.. I could STAND on the gas pedal and it's like it went into limp mode before things starting to click, and then it would take off like a bat outta hell... it felt like 2 full seconds of sheer nothingness I shiet you not..

2800 does sounds better when I think about it.. with the V3 the stock converter was so bad, it made me want to go overboard on the stall, thinking the MT ET Streets will save my ****..

You know, I might just try out the stock converter and see how it goes with the TVS. The 4.10s might be enough with all that low end torque..
