I am less than pleased with the fitment of my JLT2 CAI. The elbow and filter rub on the hood insulation. It was so bad that it burned a hole in the filter and the spot above it on the hood. I have tried everything to make it fit properly, to no avail.

I still have an SCT2 from Brenspeed. Are they still using those? From what I understand, they will tune for free if you buy a new part from them. Think they will help me out? If so, what do you think is the best bang for the buck intake. Looking to spend the least, but want some power.

I would think they would still help you out with a new tune for you CAI
contact them and see (who knoe if you bought the CAI from them they might help with the fitment issue)

Yes you can still use the X2 on your mustang, just need a custom tune written. Best option is to call Brenspeed and ask.
