Default cam question

Im ordering my ford racing cams and ford racing valve covers soon, also the stupid wedge tool and the bolts and I'm doing the job with the engine in the car, but I was wondering because i have enough for the cams right now and i do plan on upgrading the fuel system with bigger injectors and rails later will adding cams with the stock fuel delivery system cause too much lean? I know I can tune it out but I just wanted to make sure

Will you be upgrading the fuel system for FI? There really isn't any reason a stock motor with boltons can't run just fine on the stock fuel system.

Many, many people run cams with a completely stock fuel system. You've got nothing to worry about.

The FRPP Hotrod cams with muffler deletes (and nothing else) give you a great and noticeably better power band. I didn't run A/F ratios but when I drove one that had that set up, it felt great! You do get some good peak gains but the most important thing I noticed was the non-peak gains and smoothness of the delivery. I almost feel sometimes like a stock GT has a dead mid-range but cams really woke it up. I plan to get the FRPP cams in mine. Your stock fuel system will be fine.
