Rough Idle Question
#11
I changed the fuel filter and didnt notice a change but when I went to clean the throttle body I believe I found the problem. Whoever guessed vacuum leak or issue with my CAI install was right. Turns out I got a little overzealous with tightening my clamps a caused the CAI tube to bend underneath where I couldnt see it. I took it off and straightened it. Being fearful it will buckle when I tighten the clamp again I applied a liberal dose of gasket sealer and snugged the clamp around it. Dont know for sure if this will fix it. I am waiting for it to set up so I can reinstall it. heres hoping for the best

Ok, just updating... I reinstalled the CAI and noticed a gain in power at lower rpms so that was good. Picked up some MAF sensor cleaner and throttle body cleaner.
everything is cleaned thoroughly and put back together and I have to say the idle and everything is much better. thanks everyone for the help, I really appreciate it.
