cruise control issue???????

Question cruise control issue???????

ok so the other day i am driving to work, get on the highway and get up too about 70mph in 5th gear and put cruise control on, after a couple mins of cruising along the check engine light starts to blink orange or yellow what ever color it is. turn off cruise control and after about a minute it stops blinking, didnt notice and change in hoe the car was driving or preforming. any ideas??? it has done this once before and i tried to pull the codes with programer but there werent any.

You should be able to get a code next time if you pull them before you shut the car off.

When I have had blinking OD my xcal 2 would not read the tranny code but my buddies xcal 3 would. I am pretty sure the codes stay in there until cleared.

ETC (electroic throttle control) do not. For some reason those codes are not always stored.
