Default Adding gauges

Hi,

Since I've been taking my car to track days I've decided to add some gauges. Oil pressure, oil temperature and coolant temperature to start. I'd like them placed in the dash. Now my questions are: Which gauge pod fits best on the standard plastic dash and which gauges are good without breaking the bank. I've seen them anywhere from 300 and up to 20 dollars. Obviously I want some reliable gauges but some I can actually afford. If you can include pics of your setup that would be great. Thanks.

autometer makes solid gauges. You can get them cheaper for plain faced with regular backlight or spend more for fancy faces and LED.
I personally have a 2 pod pillar I bought from brenspeed. It came with a boost/vac gauge and AFR (I put the gauges in, haven't run power yet since I am waiting to install the wideband with the LT install soon)

Kit was fairly priced, but that wideband is what cost the most...

Here's the kit I bought. The gauge pod literally snapped right in and looks 100% factory.

Hope that helps.... I too am looking to add extra gauges at some point, I was considering the dash pod.... not sure what I am going to do there lol

Thanks, my car is normally aspirated so not much use for a boost gauge, the wideband I've always been interested in but the gauge pods only hold three and the A pillar ones only seem to come in black and my interior is beige so I'm stuck at three gauges max for now.

The Speed of Sound pillar pod also comes in Parchment which I believe is beige.

For dash placement there are a few choices; Speed of Sound and Ford Racing I believe are the most popular. I have both dash and pillar pods in my car both from SOS.

+1; I use the same speed of sound top-of-dash mount. The gauges are not in the way, and look really nice.
