For what you're going to pay in parts and labor, you could sell your V6, add your swap
money, and buy an 05-07, GT 5-speed.

Example:

The 5W55S can be had for as low as $575.

However, the manual swap has been done, you need the ECU from a manual as well.

i did rebuild the 5r55s on the v6 im not afraid to get my hands dirty i also installed a n2mb wot box on my AUTOMATIC v6 which has about never been done i think only one or two people have done so i got an idea in swapping and changing and rebuilding **** around lol anyways the question. THE ECU if i get one from a manual GT same year as the one i will be getting 07 will that just be a disconnect and connect ? Or will i need to have someone reprogram it? Point me in any direction that this thread might be man thanks again

You also need a brake masker from a standard for the slave cylinder in the
trans. If you look at the auto, there is a tube that comes off the master
but it's heat pinch welded shut. There is no barb on it to connect the
hydraulic line for the manual.

The brake and clutch are on one assembly.
