I will try to make this short.
I have two issues with my Edelbrock supercharged 06 GT:

1. I can't downshift to 3rd gear (AT ALL) at any speed higher than ~40mph. When I attempt to, ALL power shuts down, RPMs drop to nothing and the only thing I can do is shift back to 4th. And yes, the traction control is off. I am well aware of the high speed lockout issues, but this seems different. It goes into gear, it just dies...
2. I had a 2000 Civic SI that did this and I never found the issue before I sold it. After a cold or relatively cold start, in 1-4th gears, the car starts 'putting out' on acceleration. Its not like when the RPMs rise with a toasted clutch, but it just wont take any gas at all and you can hear the mufflers putting out and I have to ease on and off the gas until I get up to a high enough RPM and it stops. Its like something is not 'catching'. Hard to explain, but Im hoping someone has experience with this issue.

Have you scanned the ECU for fault codes.

 

Yes, it sounds like a tune issue or that something has changed since it was tuned. When did the problem start?

This car is a garage queen. In Michigan. Which means it rarely sees the road lol, and I drive like a grandma (just giving backstory). I had everything installed 2 years ago and I actually noticed it on the way home when I went to downshift to 3rd to pass a truck and the RPMs just dropped off to nothing. Its happened every time I have tried to do so, which in 2 years is only 5-10 times. I have contacted the tuner (very reputable) multiple times, but I haven't received a response...

 

Anyone with Edelbrock blowers experience this?
