2008 4.6L gt when I punch the gas pedal for a moment, intermitently the car responds with the throttle wide open. I replaced the gas pedal and the throttle auto body ( used) and it fixed it for a yr. Now its doing it again. Does anyone know which sensor this would be or what else may be causing this very scary situation?

 

Have you checked if the accelerator pedal is getting snagged on the floor mat?
