Default 88 t-bird turbo

I'm planning on building a 351w twin turbo outa my 1984 capri..
I have 2 turbos from a 88 t-bird would these work i know they probably wont feed the 351w to its full power but its a start until i get some turbos I'm just basically using them for mock up but ill probably run them for a few months
How much boost do u think this will make

those are ihi turbos on 87-88, goodto 18 to 21 psi, intercooled, but more than that just makes hotter air not more power. earlier years had t3's which can blow more boost. ihi turboshave integral wastegates and t3's have external. Gillis boost valves work for ihi turbos.

There is a point where the turbo does more harm than good if they restrict the air more than the NA engine. The IHI turbos are going to be way too small for a 351 setup IMO.

Either get some HY35 turbos or some .60 .63 from early 2.3 turbos

I wouldn't even go as small as the t3's the smallest i would go is the holsets, i mean if my 2.3t can make too much power for a t3 i am positive a 351 will also

The IHI turbos are restrictive in the upper RPMs on a 2.3L. They are far too small for a 351. You can use the .63 T3's, but they wont be ideal.

I was agreeing with the holsets and saying the t3 would be most likely too small, Believe me I know what an HY35 is I have one going on my SVO in a short while

I've seen 5.0's with twin t3/t4 hybrids
