thats a short ram intake.

and did it come with a plate to go inbetween the filter and the mass air flow meter, that had a square opening on it instead of a circle. i have the same filter and adapter package. if u have the square MAF adapter, take it off, thats what it is cause it did the same thing to my car. plus, do you have the temperature sender hooked up? it was thatsensor that was in the stock intake box. put that into your new intake. You need that too.

See even people will agree that the filter in the fender well will make more power. And sleeper I am wondering.... why didnt you put it through the fender well?
I was going to but I had to cut it short (shop wanted another $20 to bend it all like that) I was going to geat some 3" PVC pipe and have a 90* elbow and then another 90* elbow to make the filter sit in there all nice and that then I found the turbo engine and I said **** it

it tells the computer how hot or cold the incoming air is gonna be so it can adjust the fuel mixture appropriatly.

I dont see how people get off by calling those CAI's?? Yeah there is a cone filter on there getting better air flow and all.... but it still doesnt make it a CAI, you are still sucking in warm air from the engine. If it went into the fender well, it would be considered a CAI....
yah? you knockin my sh*t lmao (I have the same set up)
Wrong if the tube is long enough it goes closer to the fan...Therefore getting colder air from the fan also known as Intaking Cold Air so that is where we get off Calling them CAIs

I dont really know why I just did that mines pulled more near the fender anyway. well was..I haven't got it secured yet

pwnd!!!! I wish
