Cats aren't as bad for power as everyone seems to think. HOT ROD magazine did a test a few years back and found that a good set of high flow cats only scrubbed about 2 hp or so from the car. I think we can all sacrifice the 2 hp for the environment. It's bad enough that we all drive stangs sucking down fuel everywhere we go, lol.

The 93 was rated at 205, but that was actually rear wheel hp, not flywheel like prior years.

Yeah in 93 ford decided to caculate hp a different way, however the motor did not change. I think they did this as a markiting ploy to get people amped about buying the next all new different 94 mustang.

Actaully the cats dont really hold you back that much to make a noticeable difference.
